Churches

Today Wychbold has its own parish and church of St Mary de Wyche, which was built as recently as 1888. Before then the parish was of Dodderhill, with its church of St Augustine at the very south. Dodderhill was very large and sparsely populated so the parishioners did not always go to St Augustine’s and as indicated by the parish registers used the surrounding churches as it suited them- including Elmbridge, Hampton Lovett, Upton Warren, Stoke Prior, Hanbury, Hadzor, and the churches within the town of Droitwich.
